UCSF Heart Transplant Support Group

The group offers peer-based psychosocial support for heart transplant patients. The group varies and may have both pre and post-transplant patients in attendance. It is facilitated by our transplant social workers. Periodically, speakers are invited to present on a topic relevant to transplant. Caregivers or family members are welcome to attend the group.

When: 2nd Friday of every month, 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Holiday schedule may vary)

Location: Video conference. Please ask your social worker for details.

UCSF Adult Solid Organ Transplant Caregiver Support Group 

All caregivers of any UCSF solid organ transplant recipient (or donor) in the adult program. Caregivers only. 

When: 1st Friday of every month, 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

UCSF Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) Support Group 

LVAD Support Groups led by MCS RN coordinators.

When: 2nd Wednesday of every month, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
